Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) — The construction of the Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area progresses apace in the DPRK.
According to an official concerned, it is being built along the Myongsasipri beach, a scenic spot with an area of hundreds hectares in the eastern coast of the country, divided into the coastal square district and recreation districts Nos. 1 and 2.
Ten-odd hotels, tens of villas and houses for rent, indoor wading pool, open-air stage and many other buildings and facilities are now taking their shapes.
What is peculiar among construction projects is a section for national culture in recreation district No. 2, where Koryo pharmacy, school for the study of Korean characters, Korean tailor’s shop, Taekwon-Do gymnasium, archery field, etc. are now under construction.
Other facilities and beach resorts for tourists are also being built in the Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area which will emerge as an aggregate of advanced energy-saving and green architectural technologies.
