Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) — Thousands of cubic meters of timber have been produced and sent to the construction sites in the Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area of the DPRK.
The Ministry of Forestry and provincial forestry management bureaus encouraged forestry stations and mine-pillar producers to introduce effective cutting methods and ensure the full operation of vehicles for increased timber production.
Forestry stations under the Ryanggang, Jagang and North Hamgyong provincial forestry management bureaus have boosted the production by applying effective method to shortening the time of loading and unloading timbers.
Meanwhile, the ministry took due measures to timely supply timber to the construction sites in close cooperation with the Ministry of Railways. -0-
