Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) — Amid the rapid progress in the project for building the Sunchon Phosphate Fertilizer Factory, a work for restoring apatite mines has been stepped up in the DPRK.
Many waterlogged stopes and production processes were restored until the end of last year to lay a foundation for putting the production of apatite concentrate on a certain level.
The Phungnyon Mine is now pushing ahead with the work to put grinding system into good shape and install more flotation machines whiling concentrating efforts on raising the ore-dressing capacity.
The Jungsan Mine has taken steps to increase the number of stopes and restore surface workings with rich deposits and the Yongyu Mine raised the operation rate of mining equipment.
Visiting the Sunchon Phosphate Fertilizer Factory under construction in January this year, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un gave an important instruction for completing the restoration of apatite mines as soon as possible. -0-
