Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) — It has been pushed forward in the DPRK to spruce up Samjiyon County in the northern part of the country as an iconic and model county.
According to an official concerned, shock-brigade members of Division 216 in charge of the remodeling of the county have made great achievements, despite of unfavorable natural condition.
The framework of the Paektusan Museum, a depository for knowledge about the immortal revolutionary exploits performed by the peerlessly great persons of Mt Paektu and history and nature of Mt Paektu, was completed, showing its grandiose appearance.
The Samjiyon County Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Greenhouse was built in a peculiar way to harmonize with natural forest of Mt Paektu.
The inside of railway stations is being decorated with various fixtures made by shock-brigade members, as part of the Hyesan-Samjiyon broad-gauge railway project nearing completion.
And the construction of dwelling houses and infrastructure progresses apace in township.
Meanwhile, achievements have also been witnessed in building dwelling houses, hostel and nursery for employees of the Potato Starch Factory.
