Rapid Progress Made in Construction of Pyongyang General Hospital

Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) — The construction of the Pyongyang General Hospital is progressing apace in the DPRK.

Its internal and external construction works are now being conducted in a three dimensional way, and such works as sewage and down-pipe system, electricity and cable pit were completed.

Soldier-builders have finished the external plastering in the main and hastened the installation of windows, plastering of interior walls, ceilings and floors, etc.

Builders of the Eighth Construction Bureau, too, are speeding up the external wire-mesh concrete tamping and the external wall plastering.

They have also registered gratifying results in excavation and concrete tamping of cylinder caissons by introducing new building methods into cylinder caisson project for the intake of geothermal water.

Meanwhile, ministries and national institutions finished the installation of structural elements, concrete tamping and rezoning in the several kilometer-long section and completed the works for electricity and cable pit. -0-
