Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) — Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, inspected the construction site of the Pyongyang General Hospital.
Making rounds of different places of the construction site, he called on officials to meet the requirements of designs and building operations in the whole course of construction by enhancing their responsibility and role without resting on their laurels.
While learning about the introduction of advanced construction methods, he stressed the need to maximize the work efficiency by deploying manpower rationally and ensuring timely supply of materials, as required by the project being pushed forward in a comprehensive way.
The field consultative meeting urged the construction coordination commission and the units in charge of construction to map out detailed plans for every process and properly tap manpower, equipment and materials in order to step up the construction of the hospital.Meanwhile, he inspected the Songyo Knitwear Factory and the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory. -0-
