Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) — Greening is progressing apace at the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area under construction on the scenic east coast of the DPRK.
The field construction headquarters has made detailed arrangements for afforestation and greening in keeping with the features of the coastal tourist area.
Builders planted hundreds of thousands of trees, including the national-tree pine, and laid out a green belt of hundreds of thousands of square meters. And they are now planting flower shrubs and plants with ornamental value additionally in good harmony with landscape of surroundings.
The Ministry of Urban Management, the General Bureau of Pleasure Park and other units sent thousands of trees of good species and flower shrubs to the tourist area.
