Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) — DPRK Premier Pak Pong Ju made a field survey of the construction of the Paektusan Songun Youth Power Station and the Hyesan-Samjiyon broad-gauge railroad.
Looking round the construction site of the dam at the Paektusan Songun Youth Power Station No. 1, the project of the generator chamber at Power Station No. 2 and the broad-gauge railroad construction site, the premier acquainted himself in detail with the construction, preparations for operation and supply of building materials before convening consultative meetings.
The meetings underlined the significance and importance of the construction of the above-said projects in turning the Samjiyon area into a base for education in the revolutionary traditions.
They also underlined the issue of increasing the proportion of machines in use, the issue of ensuring the quality of the construction on the principle of taking responsibility for the safety of the structures and guarantee of their absolute quality for all eternity and the issue of supplying the building materials in a responsible manner under a plan.
The premier went round remodeling projects in the Samjiyon Township and took relevant steps.
