Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) — Premier Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and member of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, inspected Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area under construction and the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.
Inspecting various places of the area under construction, he stressed the need for all the construction units to ensure structure quality at the best level from the stand of taking responsibility for the safety of the projects and guaranteeing their absolute quality for eternity.
He also underlined the need for officials to meticulously organize the work with main emphasis put on meeting the requirements in design and construction and for the relevant units to preferentially supply equipment and materials. He also referred to the issue of boosting the survival rate of trees.
At the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex he stressed the need for the officials to properly conduct operation and command to put the production on normal track and took steps for further rounding off the Korean-style Juche-based iron-and steel-making processes with recourse to advanced science and technology.
Inspecting various production processes of the complex, he called for dynamically conducting the mass technological innovation movement and the drive for increased production and thus fully supplying iron and steel to various sectors of the national economy.
At the field consultative meetings detailed issues were discussed to enhance the responsibility and role of the units for the construction of the tourist area and materials-supply units and to fully supply raw materials and fuel to keep the steel and iron production going at a high rate at the complex. -0-
