Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) — The work to turn Samjiyon County into an iconic and model county of the country is progressing apace in the DPRK. Shock brigade members of Division 216 are registering successes every day.
The Construction Brigade 618 completed the project of repairing stone steps of Lake Chon on Mt Paektu and the external formation of 10-odd objects including Hyangdo and Paektu railway stations in a little more than a month.
Framework of the Paektusan Museum was carried out at 95 percent.
The Hyesan-Samjiyon Railway Construction Brigade is pushing forward the projects for laying rails and building railway stations. It completed the framework of the Wiyon and Rimyongsu youth railway stations.
The Ryanggang Provincial Brigade of Division 216 is building eight blocks of three-storied dwelling houses for nearly 100 flats in the Phothae area.
