Progress made in Project for Sprucing up Samjiyon County

Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) — Granite mines in the DPRK have finished the production of different kinds of processed stones needed to spruce up Samjiyon County.

More than 10 mines produced 85 740 stone products of 33 480 square meters this year.

The Osoksan Granite Mine, one of the country’s leading processed stone producers, over-fulfilled its production plan on all indices by raising the operation rate of equipment.

The Ryonggang Granite Mine ensured full operation of self-propelled stonecutter and vehicles to register gratifying results in stone cutting and transport.

The Onchon Granite Mine introduced a new stone processing method to improve machined surface of granites.
