Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) — Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, made field survey of several units in South Phyongan Province.
Making a round of the Phyongsong Irrigation Machine Factory, Pak Pong Ju encouraged its workers effecting innovation in pump production for irrigation by strengthening the existing production foundation, and underscored the need to raise the modernization level of production processes and expand their capability.
After learning about the production of the Phyongsong Artificial Leather Factory including raw materials supply, he underlined the need to produce much more quality artificial leather goods by increasing the proportion of locally available raw and other materials, and called upon the relevant units to meticulously organize the provision of electric power and supply of materials.
After inspecting the construction site of the Sunchon Phosphate Fertilizer Factory and the construction site for the project of building C1 chemical industry, he discussed the measures for ensuring the construction speed and the quality of structures at the best level and managing the overall production processes in a utilitarian way. -0-
