Construction of General Hospital Progresses Apace in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) — The construction of the Pyongyang General Hospital is progressing apace in the DPRK.

The builders finished the ground excavation in 20-odd days after the start of its construction and got down to the ground concrete tamping.

The ground concrete tamping has exceeded 40 percent as of now.

In this regard, an official of the construction coordination commission told KCNA:

The builders are now speeding up the construction while strictly ensuring the quality of building work by putting the building method on a scientific basis of higher level.

All the building units arranged complex gravel collection grounds and carry more than 3 000 cubic meters of mixture a day by raising the operation rate of transport means to the full.

Meanwhile, they are raising the level of mechanization through introduction of several delivery machines and other equipment and updating various kinds of utensils and tools to save the labor power. -0-
